Being an entrepreneur is a personal challenge and great opportunity. Entrepreneurs let visionary ideas become real, drive the economy and development of their countries, create jobs and endlessly thrive for the wellbeing of their families and communities. The EU-funded project ”Future Young Entrepreneurs” helps school-to-work-transition by providing business mentoring and first hand practical work experience for young people from India, Indonesia, Malawi, Netherlands, Romania, Vietnam and Germany. Gymnasium Olching

The grammar school Olching is a state school with a focus on natural sciences and technology, languages and economic and social sciences. It is the only grammar school in the city of Olching with approx. 1000 students taught here by more than 120 teachers. The students start at Gymnasium Olching in grade 5 and finish with a higher education entrance qualification in grade 12.

All students learn English beginning in grade 5. They have the option to choose French or Latin as a second foreign language in grade 6. In grade 8, French can again be chosen, now as a third foreign language. Italian can replace the second foreign language in grade 10.

Electives

Gymnasium Olching offers a wide range of opportunities for extracurricular commitment, aimed at enabling students to successfully identify with their school. Examples of these projects are the One World Project, the working group “Youth Researcher’s” (a German youth science competition) and the circus “Wunderbar”.
